Terms of Service

Welcome to modernsavage.co. These terms apply to everyone who uses the site and to everything you buy from it, whether you are in the UK, the US. By using the site or placing an order you agree to them.

The seller is Modern Savage Inc., a company incorporated in Delaware, USA (“we”, “us”, “our”). You can reach us at any time at support@modernsavage.co.

Pre-orders

Modern Savage is currently sold on pre-order. That means you are reserving product from a batch that has not been manufactured yet, and it works differently from an ordinary purchase in two ways we want to be plain about:

• Your card is charged in full when you order, not when we dispatch. Paying is what reserves your place in the first batch.
• The delivery date is a target, not a guarantee. We are aiming to deliver around October 2026. If that date slips we will email you and tell you the new one, and you can cancel for a full refund at that point or at any point before dispatch.

You can cancel a pre-order at any time before it is dispatched and we will refund you in full, no reason needed. Email support@modernsavage.co with your order number and we will process it. This is our own promise and it sits on top of the statutory rights described below, it does not replace them.

If you are in the United States, the FTC Mail, Internet or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule also applies. If we cannot ship within the time we stated when you ordered, we will contact you with a revised date and the option to consent to the delay or cancel for a prompt full refund. If we cannot ship within 30 days of a revised date you have not agreed to, we will refund you without you having to ask.

Placing an order

The products listed on the site are an invitation to order, not an offer. Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email. If we cannot accept your order, for example because we cannot lawfully ship to your country or we have made a pricing error, we will tell you and refund you in full.

You must be at least 18 to buy from us. We currently accept orders for delivery to the United Kingdom and the United States, see our Shipping page.

Prices, currency and taxes

Orders delivered to the UK are priced and charged in pounds sterling. Orders delivered to the US are priced and charged in US dollars. The price you see at checkout, in the currency shown at checkout, is the price you pay.

Product prices exclude delivery, which is added at checkout and shown before you pay. Where sales tax or VAT applies it is calculated and shown at checkout. For deliveries that cross a customs border, import duties and taxes charged by the destination country are the recipient's responsibility, see our Shipping page.

We may change prices at any time, but never after you have placed an order.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. By paying you confirm the card is yours or that you have permission to use it.

Subscriptions

If you choose a subscription, you are agreeing to a recurring payment. The price, the currency and the frequency are shown before you pay and repeated in your confirmation email. Deliveries run on a 28-day cycle and we email you before each renewal is charged.

You can cancel a subscription at any time after your second delivery from your account, and you will not be charged again. If you need to cancel earlier than that, email us and we will sort it. Cancelling stops future deliveries; it does not by itself refund a delivery already sent, which is covered by our Returns policy.

Delivery, returns and refunds

Delivery times, rates and coverage are on our Shipping page. Your rights to return or cancel, including the UK 14-day cancellation right and the hygiene exemption for opened supplements, are set out in full in our Returns & Refunds policy. Both pages form part of these terms.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If something arrives damaged, faulty or wrong, we put it right, see the Returns policy.

About our products

Modern Savage sells food supplements. They are not medicines. Nothing on this site is medical advice. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or have a health condition, talk to your doctor first.

The content on this site is intended for people aged 18 or older.

Your account

Placing an order creates an account under the email address you ordered with, so you can see your order history and manage a subscription. There is no password: we email a secure sign-in link to that address. Keep that link to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has access to your inbox.

Newsletter and emails

If you sign up to the newsletter, you're giving us permission to email you with product news and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time from the link in every email, or by emailing us. Transactional emails about an order you placed are not marketing and are sent whether or not you subscribe. What we do with your email address is described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

All content on modernsavage.co, including text, images, logos, recipes and branding, is owned by Modern Savage and protected by copyright and trade mark laws in the UK, the US and internationally. You can view and share our content for personal, non-commercial use. Please do not copy, reproduce or use it commercially without our written permission.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

• try to break, overload or work around security on the site
• scrape or copy site content in bulk
• impersonate anyone
• submit content that is unlawful, abusive, harmful or misleading

We may block access from networks that do.

The site is provided “as is”

We work hard to keep everything accurate and the site working, but we can't promise it will always be available, bug-free or that information on it is complete. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss that is not directly caused by us.

Nothing in these terms takes away your rights as a consumer: in the UK under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and in the US under the consumer-protection laws of your home state.

Third-party links

The site may link to other sites (for example Instagram). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it. We will update the date at the top of this page when anything changes, and flag material changes in the announcement bar at the top of the site.

Governing law

Which law applies depends on where you live, because we sell into two markets and it would not be fair to make either side travel.

• If you live in the United States: these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, and disputes will be handled by the state and federal courts located in Delaware.
• If you live in the United Kingdom: these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may instead bring a claim in your home country's courts.
• Wherever you live, nothing in these terms removes any mandatory consumer protection you have under the law of your home country or state.
